While gifts are not expected, they are always welcome.

As we are in our 30s, we already have (almost) all of the kitchen gear we could ever want! Instead, we have two funds that we would love to fulfill, as well as a scattering of other items that would help us get our next phase started.

  • Fund Item No. 1 -- 3D Printer (Manufacturing Hub) -- Over the past 4 years, we have enjoyed doing oddball, creative projects together. This 3D printer (that also works as a laser engraver, laser cutter, and pen plotter) would be used over many evenings and weekends together, for projects to come.

  • Fund Item No. 2 -- House Down Payment -- We can't wait to start the next phase of life together, and look forward to building a home together!

WEDDING CEREMONY

& RECEPTION (SAT)

We kindly request colorful black tie (black tie-ish attire). Have fun -- white tie, black tie, bright colors, prints, long gowns, silky dresses, and fancy ball gowns highly encouraged. Given that our camp wedding will involve some level of walking outdoors, we recommend erring on the side of shoes with stability (think block heels rather than stilettos). We look forward to seeing everyone in their finest attire!

NOTE TO AVOID BRIDESMAID DRESS COLOR / PRINT:

To avoid matching the bridesmaids, we recommend avoiding blue and white floral prints on Saturday, like this or this or this or this or this or this or this or this or this or this (you get the idea).

ALL OTHER TIMES

Casual - come as you are! For the welcome dinner (Friday, 6pm), nice clothes encouraged but not required.

PACK SMART: WEATHER TIPS

Summer on the east coast is known to be hot, and at times muggy. The good news: Lake George is a stunning place where city dwellers escape for respite, fun in the sun, and a little nature! Both the welcome dinner and the wedding will occur in the evening, after the hottest part of the day has passed.
